After the huge success of YLES '07 last year, which gathered over 500 students from colleges and schools all over Pakistan, the LUMS Entrepreneurial Society (LES) is all set to host a bigger, more vibrant and pulsating conference, the YOUNG LEADERS AND ENTREPRENEURS SUMMIT '08, at Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore, Pakistan from 31st January-5th February, 2008.
The six day event is a unique chance for students to voice their ideas, sharpen their creativity, meet new people and amplify their interpersonal skills - develop business acumen. The aim of YLES is to give future leaders and entrepreneurs a taste of the world of decision-making and entrepreneurship through a series of workshops and seminars conducted by professional peoples, competitions such as a Business Idea Competition and Play IT, networking sessions as well as social events like the Concert and Formal Dinner.
This year, we are targeting about 800 delegates from all over Pakistan: students of universities, colleges and A-level schools. Moreover, we are also inviting international students to participate and add to the diversity and dynamism of the conference.
The entire summit is a student run venture aimed at creating awareness and helping the youth to realize their potential as the leaders and entrepreneurs of tomorrow. The intensity along with the magnitude of the future decisions taken in the dynamic world of entrepreneurs is what gives YLES the essence it has today.
